Vermont Fish and Wildlife are asking motorists to slow down or take alternate routes to avoid driving roads with wetlands and ponds nearby, where salamanders and frogs cross during the breeding season. Pay attention to the forecast for warm nights with rainfall.

The North Country Honor Run organized by Beekmantown students and other runners raised over 35-thousand dollars last year to support North Country Honor flights to Washington, D.C. for Veterans. The run takes place at U-S Oval in Plattsburgh alongside an Honor Flight send-off to the nation’s capital.

Vermont V-Twins Cruisers are holding a Benefit Ride for Williams Syndrome, a rare disease affecting one in 10,000 people of all ages and walks of life. Registration is at Champlain Valley Union High School in the back parking lot starting at 9am. Kickstands at 11am and the ride ends at 3pm.
